湘水蕩蕩，古今文脈匯龍頷；
Where mighty Xiang River surges, all timeless wisdom converges beneath the loong’s head；
嶽麓蒼蒼，天地絕學蘊驪珠。
Verdant Yuelu peaks stand lofty, holding heaven-earth’s profound wisdom like a priceless pearl.
巍巍黌門，雄峙衡嶽開乾坤氣象；
The stately university gate faces great Hengshan, unveiling cosmic grandeur；
熠熠軍徽，聳矗星城創璀璨華章。
The radiant August First Emblem crowns the Star City of Changsha’s heights, igniting splendor far and wide.
國之大事，在祀在戎；
A nation’s destiny turns upon its rites and arms；
大道之行，國盛軍威。
As the Great Dao prevails, nation flourishes, its military awe-inspiring.
九州滄桑，敢問蒼茫大地；
With the vicissitudes of the nation in mind, I dare to ask the vast land:
百年變局，誰到中流擊水？
Amidst the tides of profound changes unseen in a century, who dares brave the surging stream?
國防科大，應時勢之需；
NUDT arises to meet the nation’s urgent need；
強軍高地，擎使命之巨。
This strong-army highland shoulders the grand duty, heeding the nation’s call.
風雲回望，白山黑水肇啟篳路藍縷；
Through storm-laden history we gaze: pioneers forged paths through frozen wilderness；
歲月崢嶸，北戰南征播灑火種繁星。
Campaigning across the land, they kindled sparks that lit the starry night.
松花江畔，風華絕代哈軍工；
By Songhua’s flowing waves, the Harbin Military Engineering University stood peerless in its prime；
橘子洲頭，百舸爭流看今朝。
At Orange Isle’s head, a fleet of dreams now surges with the tide of time.
桃李映丹心，櫛風沐雨與時代同行；
Like peach and plum in bloom, their passion burns—through storm and sun, they march with time；
國士擔道義，真知灼見伴機遇挑戰。
Guardians of truth, they bear the torch—through trials and tides, their wisdom shines.
守正創新，為科學秉公秉要；
Hold fast to truth, yet forge anew—let science guide with light；
深謀遠慮，為國運獻計獻策。
With vision vast, they chart the course—for nation’s future bright.
風骨凜凜，巖巖若孤松傲立；
Unshaken as lone pines on high, their souls stand proud in light；
美芹煌煌，朗朗如日月入懷。
Their wisdom shines like sun and moon—a beacon burning bright.
厚德博學，千巖萬壑鳳翥龍驤；
Virtue profound, wisdom vast—where the phoenix soars and the loong strides through peaks untold；
強軍興國，雄懷虎膽妙點龍睛。
Strengthen arms, uplift the land—with tiger’s might, their vision lights the path of gold.
嗟乎，學子從軍於此大觀；
Alas, noble youth, the call of service echoes here, where grandeur awaits your strength；
壯哉，誌士報國於斯為盛。
O courageous hearts, this is the moment of glory! Rise and fulfill your duty to the nation.
謹記領袖號召，矢誌一流搶占制高點；
Answer our leader’s call—scale the pinnacle, aim to surpass;
放眼世界大勢，高端融智敢為天下先。
Observe global trends—converge top minds, pioneer novel paths.
迎科技之變，聚焦前沿爭鋒陸海空天電；
Embrace technology’s transformation—dominate frontiers on land, sea, sky, space and cyber domains;
察戰爭之變，經韜緯略列陣東西南北中；
Decipher war’s evolution—deploy forces across five theater: East, West, South, North, Central;
觀對手之變，知己知彼廟算雲霧雨雷風。
Scrutinize rivals mutation—gauge clouds, storms, winds through strategic lens.
謀制勝機理，碩士博士皆戰士；
Forge victory’s logic—scholars in arms: masters, doctors wield the sword;
探勝戰之道，九天九地盡沙場。
Probe the art of triumph—battlefields span earth to heaven, spared no room nor word;
烽煙淬肝膽，電磁潛行數智縱橫；
Fire-forged courage moves—stealth through electromagnetic storms, digital maneuvers soar;
霜雪礪鋒芒，陀螺飛旋光劍馳掣。
Frost-honed edges gleam—laser gyroscopes spin, photon blades slash and roar;
燈燭映星月，天河驚濤天拓騁宇；
Lamps mirror stars—as the Heavenly River’s roaring surge, Tianhe Supercomputer breaks the verge;
鐘鼓催朝暮，銀河滄浪北鬥巡疆。
Bells pace the hours—where the Milky way’s waves meet Yinhe Supercomputer’s might, the Dipper’s light beams Beidou’s mission of patrolling the frontier;
山河瀛寰，金甲藏書劍器堪抵百萬兵；
Mountains and rivers span the globe—gold-armored tomes and swords outmatch a million foes;
四荒八極，洞燭機先雷霆可卷千重浪。
Pole to pole—lightning foresight strikes with waves that sweep through fields.
無名無悔，熱血春秋其命惟新；
Nameless, unrepentant—hot blood renews our sacred vow through changing years;
忠誠忠魂，復興偉業舍我其誰。
Loyal in soul and deed—who but us dare bear the nation’s weight? No fears!
軍魂何偉？偉之高地！
How’s soul forged mighty? On sacred highland’s might!
高地者，熔爐熾兮鍛赤子之心，丹忱烈兮凝不滅之光。
Where furnace flames temper faith’s gleam—undaunted blaze that shatters night!
強軍何以？以之高地！
How to forge might? Command the highland!
高地者，逐浪潮頭兮擔國命，將士同袍兮赴戎機。
Where vanguards surf tech surges—shoulder the nation’s call,
Comrades-in-arms ride lightning bolts—to turn war’s tides at will!
何謂高地？殷切囑托！
What is the highland? Our leader’s sacred trust!
囑托者，使命在肩兮劍氣如虹，砥礪前行兮征途如磐。
Where duty gleams with spectral blades—resolve stands granite-fast and just!
何謂高地？時代擔當！
What is the highland? The ear’s weight we bear!
擔當者，為黨育人兮千秋偉業，為國鑄劍兮萬世留芳。
